Ross is a professional drum tutor with a range of experience in both live performance as well as teaching drummers of all ages and standards. His musical CV includes television and radio, festivals in the UK and abroad, cruise ships, studio work, theatre shows and bespoke corporate events. Ross has a BMus Degree in Popular Music Performance from the London College of Music where I was taught by some of the best session drummers in the industry.
Ross’ lesson plans combine the technical foundations of drumming with the students’ musical interests. He believes this allows students to understand the ergonomics and theoretical aspects of drumming whilst developing and expressing their own sound. Ross believes the most important part of lessons is to ensure the student always has fun and learns something new.
